Quantum Machines is a global leader in hybrid control systems for quantum computing, a field on the verge of exponential growth. Our innovative hardware and software offer a groundbreaking approach to controlling quantum computers, scaling from individual qubits to arrays of thousands. At the heart of QM is a passionate, ambitious team committed to transforming the construction and operation of quantum computers. Our deep understanding of customer needs drives us to deliver unmatched solutions in this revolutionary field.
As a Product Solutions Physicist - Technical Marketing Focus, we are looking for a quantum physicist who wants to shape how the field understands quantum control with very active participation to the community, from the vantage point of someone who sees across dozens of leading labs and companies. You'll translate what QM's hardware and software actually do into the language researchers trust, decide which technical stories are worth telling, and own the narrative that positions QM in a fast-moving field. This role is for someone who can read and absorb the latest research papers, discern and argue about the physics, and cares that the claim is correct and compelling.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of QM's platforms (OPX, QUA, real-time control) and the experimental problems they solve across multiple qubit modalities – and in particular spin qubits.
- Own the language, framing, and technical accuracy of QM's public-facing materials: whitepapers, application notes, blog posts, conference talks. Decide what's worth saying and make sure the physics is right.
- Work alongside the solutions, applications, and research teams to track where the field is going and keep QM's messaging ahead of it rather than behind it. Spot niche under-served technical topics for QM to educate the community on.
- Represent QM as a technical voice: speaker, panelist, author to audiences ranging from grad students to CTOs, calibrating the depth to the room.
- Creation of technical content such as whitepapers, blogposts, datasheets, solution briefs and videos, and creatives of various types – including support for Digital Marketing with YouTube, Blogs, LinkedIn, X, etc. and thought leadership projects
- Partner with Marketing Ops to understand what resonates and why, and feed that back into what you produce next, helping to stir QM’s content strategy & tone of voice across all channels
- Build and refine pipelines that turn product and research updates into community-facing content, compressing the path from "new capability shipped" to "the field understands why it matters."
